The software that specialists become proficient in, and the accounting they complete, allow soldiers to find similar careers as Logistics Coordinators, Bookkeepers, Purchasing Agents, or Shipping and Receiving Clerks. Job training for an Automated Logistical Specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and nine weeks and two days of Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA with on-the-job instruction.
